Ischia Ruggia Beach
The beach of Ischia Ruggia is the southernmost in the territory of Tresnuraghes, which a little further south ends at Punta Foghe. Accessible by car (preferably a 4WD) is located in a broad Valley dominated by the Saracen Tower.
The beach is made up of small sandy coves set among the rocks. Easy access to the sea.
By car
From Tresnuraghes take the road to San Marco and turn right at the end of the village. After a few miles miles, turn right onto a dirt road uphill. Follow the dirt road downhill until you reach the Saracen tower. From there still down left to the large open space near the beaches.
Worth knowing
Rather than turning right into the dirt road, you can continue for a few miles and get to the tower of Punta Foghe. Great view of the valley below and on the dark crag that falls into the sea. On a clear day the view extends up to Is Arenas and the the Sinis peninsula.
